Too Bad

Well today didn't go exactly as hoped. I went to get into the van to go to my Dr. appointment and it was dead. Then, I went to the Dr., and I have two little tiny kidney stones. Bummer. I was hoping they wouldn't come back.

Other than that, it was a great day. Seth has been doing great with potty training. He is pretty cute. He is still learning about pooping on the potty and figuring that out. The past couple of days he has tooted, and then put his hand by his bum and said "hiccups." Then we ask if he needs to go poopies on the potty, and he says, "nope, just hiccups" with a huge smile on his face. What a cute kid, so now we call toots, hiccups.

Elise's blessing

Today we had Elise's blessing. Here are a few pictures of her in her cute little dress. The blessing was very nice. I think we are very blessed to have such wonderful children.

We had a great weekend. Eric, Amy and their family came. We also had a couple of other families over for Thanksgiving dinner. We had a great time. The kids really played well and seemed to really enjoy each other's company. It is fun to watch the different combinations and groups that the kids play with each time they get together with cousins.

Matthew is baptized

Matthew was baptized Friday. He was so cute. He and Brian left for the church early. When I got there he was sitting on the front row with Brian, both dressed in white. Matthew had a huge grin on his face. He was so happy. He was so cute. He smiled the entire time. Eric (Eric and his family came for Thanksgiving and the baptism) gave a talk on baptism, I gave a talk on the gift of the Holy Ghost, and then he was baptized and confirmed. It was very nice. He is such a good kid. I was glad he was so happy. I am so pleased that he made the decision. He is a great example to his siblings. I am so grateful he is part of our family.

Funny

So, lately Seth has been watching more movies (I can't imagine why). So the past couple of weeks, we have been limiting him again. He is pretty funny. He'll bring us a movie and ask "watch Scooby Doo" or "watch Elmo." Then, if we say no, he'll throw a fit, but if we say, "Maybe tomorrow," he'll happily put the movie back, bring another one and we repeat the scenario.

The other day, there was something I wanted him to do- maybe go to bed or change his diaper or pick up toys- I really don't remember. Anyway, I asked to do something, and he happily replied, "Maybe tomorrow." I laughed. He is such a character.

Matthew's Birthday

Matthew Loves Bakugan, can you tell? He had a great day. He invited a few friends over and they played soccer. had cake and ice cream, and then played Nerf Dart tag. They had a great time. I was glad that the weather was warm.

Halloween and other October pics

Here is a late post from Halloween. Cute Seth was so tired he fell asleep almost as soon as they started trick or treating. It was chilly (if you couldn't tell). Matt, Kara, and Lindsay had a great time. I didn't get pictures of Lindsay and Kara. Lindsay was a unicorn and Kara was a fairy. Matthew was a skeleton.
